Hello and welcome to the Nu Xi Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity at Stephen F. Austin State University!
We are excited that you are considering becoming part of the SFA's Greek Community, as well as looking into TKE Recruitment. We understand that the choice to Rush is an important one, and we promise to make the process unforgettable.
TKE is the premier Fraternity at SFA. We host the campus' most recognizable events like Miss Greek and TKE/Driving Jacks Car Bash. We are the Intramural and Greek Week Softball champions. We have members in Student Government, two IFC officers, Jack Camp Counselors, Orientation Leaders, SFA Faculty, Honors College, and much more. We receive awards, our most recent being the 2009 Volunteer of the Year (Hector Pineda) and 2009 Service Project of the Year (Miss Greek). We have an endowed a scholarship SFA's the Alumni Association. While other Fraternities only desire QUANTITY, TKE is looking for QUALITY members. We want to develop the LEADERS OF LEADERS at SFA!
We will have several events this summer in cities throughout Texas. These events are meant to give you the opportunity to meet the members of our chapter and see if we are the best fit for you in a more informal environment before school starts. We will have a schedule of events for the summer and once school begins posted here ASAP.
The second week of school marks the beginning of Formal Rush. The events during this week are meant to be more formalized and give you the final chance to make a decision before Steps Day on Saturday which marks the end of the Rush process for all IFC chapters.
