Located on over three and a half acres of land, the Nu Xi chapter house has been part of this Fraternity almost since its original inception in 1970. It was located on North Street at the time, and was the location of many formals and mixers, even a TKE's wedding. In 2001, thanks to some hard work and planning by the Chapter and it's Board of Advisors, the house was moved to its current location just off the loop in Nacogdoches.
The house is two stories, has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a full kitchen, game room, and living/chapter room. The house is surrounded on three sides by a deck that holds over 150 people. We have many brotherhood, chapter, and rush events at the house every year. A big deal every year, is the TKE Homecoming bonfire held at the house at midnight after the SFA bonfire with our alumni.
Chapter members who lived at the house this past year recorded a significantly higher GPA than the average student at SFA.
The future of the house includes many renovations to the interior, and big plans for the exterior, including a sand volleyball court, which is currently under construction, a paved driveway, and further expanded deck, and a party barn for large events.
