TKE Carbash for Driving Jacks The Nu Xi Chapter has a proud history of serving the community of Nacogdoches, along with other national charities. Locally, we have adopted a two mile stretch of highway along NW Stallings. Each year we host a canned food drive called Gobble Gallop with Chi Omega, in which all donations are given to Godtel Ministries. The TKE Car Bash is a popular event where students pay to take a sledgehammer to a car to raise money for Driving Jacks, an organization at SFA which offers safe, non-judgmental rides to students.

Our biggest event is the Annual Miss Greek SFA Pageant to raise money for MADD in which girls from each sorority competes in a Miss America style pageant in events such as formal wear, talent, and a question/answer portion concerning alcohol awareness related questions. This past year TKE worked over 1300 hours and raised nearly $2000 for various charities. This upcoming year we are planning to add working with Habitat for Humanity and a car wash to benefit the Ronald Reagan Alzheimers Foundation. TKE has always been very involved in their communities, and the brothers of the Nu Xi chapter are proud to uphold this tradition.
